Apparently a lot of people these days find it hard to accept “no” as an answer. It seems that some creeps would just go on and on when they decide to bother someone, regardless of the person’s respond. Maybe some of them consider “no” to be an invitation for a flirt, or they are just too persistent and could not accept rejection.
This list features similar situations in which random people tried to evade someone else’s personal space, but they were shut down with the help of other men and women.
1. Women will always be there for others.
As this girl was hit on by an older man while she was working, she realized that there was nobody around to turn to for help, but then a lady came to ask her about some products. It was only when the woman checked out when she said she came to the rescue intentionally.
2. Saving the day and keeping the girl.
This is a wonderful story, because not only did this man save a girl from some creep, but he eventually became her husband. He was definitely this girl’s hero and they ended up together – a real life fairytale.
3. Some people eliminate the awkward moment in advance.
This guy was so thoughtful that he decided to take his girlfriend along with him when he headed to rescue a stranded female driver after her car broke down. He knew that she would feel awkward if there was just the two of them in the truck. What a great guy!
4. Knowing that someone is there for you is enough sometimes.
If somebody invests his time and puts your safety as a priority, it is an admirable act of kindness that is beyond words. In this case a man decided to keep an eye on this woman until she gets on the bus, and he did it without bothering her and despite the cold weather.
5. The bar is probably the place where you meet most of the creeps in your lifetime.
Women seem to know about this stuff and they would understand you within a blink of an eye. If you find yourself in a situation in which you need help, just looking at another girl the right way could spare you the presence of someone annoying.
6. If someone is bothering you, find someone bigger than him and ask for assistance.
This would probably work most of the times. All that this girl wanted was to enjoy a good night out, but some creep would not stop following her, so she asked a big dude and his girlfriend for assistance. Good people still exist and she was lucky enough to stumble upon a couple of them.
7. Sometimes it’s hard to stand up and do something.
Some situations require quick thinking. This girl, however, did not hesitate and when she saw a girl in need of assistance, she stepped in despite being shy. The gratitude of the person you saved is the reward for such act.
8. You don’t really have to confront someone who hits on a girl.
En elegant and effective way of saving a girl from some creep who is hitting on her is to pretend you know her and start a conversation; the intruder would likely just walk away. Nobody wants a direct confrontation because you never know how serious thing could get.
9. The person who pulls a girl out of a risky situation does not have to be female, too.
Sometimes the person who comes to the rescue is not a girl, but a man who just happened to see that you needed a bit of assistance. And they say that chivalry was dead.
10. You should never interrupt someone who is enjoying a good book.
Asking a girl you don’t know for a drink is not something bad. However, if she turns you down and you keep insisting, it starts to be annoying. The case with this girl was exactly the same until a random woman who obviously overheard want was happening pretended that she knew the girl and saved her from the imposter.
