It is safe to say that most people were forced to live with one or more roommates at a certain point in their lives. While it may be a fun experience that will leave you sweet memories, in other cases it’s a complete nightmare.
Living with another person is a gamble; it doesn’t even matter if you didn’t know each other or were close friends, because things change once you start sharing the same roof. Any differences in characters, habits, preferences and tastes could lead to confrontations, rivalry or endless pranks.
However, if you think that your roommates were bad or they still are, you’ll look at them differently after seeing the following list.
1. Everyday chores may seem rather simple to do, but some people still refuse to do them
Looks like one of the roommates was fed up with constantly being stuck in the toilet without toilet paper, which ran out after the other roommate used the premises earlier. The sarcastic approach to solving the problem obviously backfired and it’s hilarious to see it.
2. This is a savage way to deal with food thieves, but we guess it’s effective
You definitely don’t want to be this girl’s roommate. While snatching food from the fridge is very annoying and quickly becomes a habit, it calls for less drastic measures than replacing the lemonade with cat pee.
3. This guy has absolutely no excuse
Burning a whole pizza because you got drunk and forgot it in the oven for a whole night is hilarious and irresponsible in the same time; except for wasting the pizza, this situation could have ended up with a fire. This dude is not the roommate of your dreams.
4. The love roommates have for each other is often too big to be easily described with words
Not for this roommate, apparently. Making the effort to prepare a cake is admirable, but when there is a certain message that you would like to send to your buddy, this makes it even more special. Except for the times you want to make fun and have a few laughs, maybe; there is nothing more typical for roommates than the constant process of reminding each other that both of them are just wasting oxygen.
5. This guy bought a wax seal just to be able to brand his possessions
You begin to realize that your roommate is kind of weird when you see things like this happening. There surely is a rational way of preserving your personal items from being obsessed by your roommate, but a wax stamp is just too much.
6. Just your maniac roommate leaving you a ‘friendly’ note
This must have been a joke, but since we don’t know for sure, it could also be considered as an aggressive warning.
We hope that the other roommate had common sense and did not adjust the air-conditioner for his own sake.
7. This is the kind of roommate pranks that give you the chills
If you know that your roommate loves scary movies, then you are aware of how such a prank would mess with his mind.
8. Someone was obviously fed up with his roommates throwing out his stuff
This is a common problem when you are not living alone; however, it could become a serious habit and the person who was forced to label all his food with the words ‘do not throw away’ as seen on the picture here probably had enough and had to did something about it.
9. This is unbelievable
Of all the things that roommates could argue about, this person decided to make a problem out of the fact that someone threw garbage in their trash bin. Unbelievable, but apparently it happened.
10. Creating this cover for a dishwashing guide took a lot of effort, but was it worth it?
Obviously someone needed to be taught a lesson; however, making this poster that resembles a cover for a dishwashing guide book probably took a lot of time and skills, and we wonder if it worked and the person actually began to wash his own dishes.
