10 People Who Definitely Know How To Delight and Entertain Others

Almost everyone has that person in their life who is extremely entertaining for one reason or another. In general, those people just have really good senses of humor. Their jokes may not always be great, but at least they are trying; no one can be truly funny all of the time, but the effort is appreciated. They may not be the most reliable of friends, true, but you want them in your life anyway because they are the ones who are always looking to have a bit of fun.

Here are twelve examples of people who are trying to delight or entertain the people with whom they interact.

1. The Guy and the Pet Fish

This guy is either trying to entertain people or is completely insane. In general, sane people don’t take their pet fish for a walk.

I am assuming the guy was just trying to be entertaining, and he definitely put a decent amount of effort in. That could not have been an easy feat.

I can’t really look at people and tell if they are insane, but I am guessing that he is not. With the exception of the whole fish thing, it looks like he has his act together. I am no fashion expert, but I like the coat, and the hat is kind of classy.

Pet fish are not cheap. A lot of people assume that fish are low-maintenance pets; compared to puppies, I suppose, they are. If you want to keep saltwater fish, though, you are probably going to spend hundreds of dollars just for the aquarium alone—if you want a good one. Maintaining that aquarium will likely cost thousands of dollars. The tanks require regular care.

2. The Wookiee

It really does look like a Wookiee shed all of its fur. I am assuming someone was dressed up like one for Halloween or some sort of costume party.

If you don’t know what a Wookiee is, you have clearly never seen a “Star Wars” film. I don’t know anyone who hasn’t watched at least one. I know a guy who hates them, but even he knows what a Wookiee is.

Naturally, of course, the most famous Wookie is Chewbacca. He first appeared in “Star Wars: A New Hope”, which came out over 40 years ago. He appeared in many other “Star Wars” films, including “Return of the Jedi”, as well as “The Force Awakens”. I have no idea what will happen in the next “Star Wars” film, but I doubt the character is going anywhere. He is pretty well loved. He will probably be appearing in “Star Wars” films until they stop making them, and I do not see that happening anytime soon.

3. The Guy and the Tire With the Dolls

I think I am looking at a shirtless guy in a tire filled with water; there are dolls sitting on the tire.
I can only assume he is trying to entertain people on the internet. He is definitely entertaining me. He might have been drunk when he posted the image, though, because this really isn’t a good look. That appears to be a beer can next to him, which sort of confirms my theory.

That water looks disgusting. I wouldn’t want to step in it, let alone sit in it. I am guessing that is rain water, but I can’t be sure. He is definitely going the extra mile to entertain.

At the very least, the dolls do look pretty happy to see him. I don’t really know why he has dolls designed for children. He might have a child. If that is the case, that child will probably be pretty mad he took the toys.

4. The Soldier and the Salute

For whatever reason, this soldier is saluting a “My Little Pony”. I am no expert, but I believe that is “Rainbow Dash”. As I don’t have a child and am not a fan of the franchise, I can’t be one hundred percent sure.

The franchise is surprisingly popular. It has certainly passed the test of time. It was first introduced in the 1980s, and over one hundred million “ponies” were sold throughout the course of the decade.
It wasn’t so popular for a while there, but the brand was revived in the early 2000s, and retail sales have been huge lately. In 2015, the brand grossed over $1 billion.

The brand is primarily marketed towards young girls, but a lot of grown men have taken interest in “My Little Pony” lately. Perhaps the soldier is one of the men who just really like the brand. He does seem to be taking the salute pretty seriously.

5. The Finger Paint and the Car

You probably don’t want this to happen to your car. Even if you are the parent who bought your own child the finger paint, you probably don’t want this to happen to your car. You have every right to be sort of mad at the child.

It does make the car stand out in a parking lot, though, so that is something. Also, assuming this was done by a small child, I have to say I am pretty impressed by the whole thing. There is some nice work here. In particular, I think the turtle is very well done.

If this was done by an adult, though, I am in no way impressed.

It was a woman by the name of Ruth Faison Shaw who brought finger painting to the United States and into American schools in the 1930s. She even wrote a book about it. Shaw died in 1969.

6. The Kid That Became The Hat

This is a curious picture. First of all, if you need protection from the sun, you probably shouldn’t use your kid. Second of all, that kid doesn’t look very comfortable. It can’t be good for the back.

Of course, having a kid on your head isn’t good for the back. How did that end up happening? The dad doesn’t look particularly pleased by the whole situation, but he is entertaining us.

I am speaking from personal experience when I say that back problems are one of the worst things a person can experience. Even if you are only a teenager, you should be extremely careful with your back. Be sure to lift properly and all of that. In general, back problems do not get better as you age.

7. The Post-it Note War

Someone was clearly trying to entertain the whole internet, because this might be the most impressive thing I have ever seen. All of these characters were made with post-it notes somehow. There’s a genius or two out there, and they need their recognition.

I don’t know what I like more. The Kermit the Frog is impressive, certainly. I am a fan of video games, so I obviously like the “Mario” from the “Super Mario Brothers” series. Pikachu, from the “Pokemon” games is also great.

I am definitely a fan of the really old, classic video games, so I love the ghosts from “Pac-Man”.

Believe it or not, “Pac-Man” games have been enjoyed since 1980. That is a pretty long time. It is practically impossible to put into words how much that character and those games influenced video game culture. Pac-Man is an icon, and that simply can’t be denied.

8. The Uncle and the Photoshop

This image is clearly manipulated, but it demonstrates a certain level of talent that is pretty impressive.

I sincerely doubt, however, that the uncle never used Photoshop before. That seems very unlikely. It isn’t the easiest thing in the world to use, honestly. There are a lot of people who are great with it, I know; unfortunately, I am not one of those people.

I am not really sure what I am supposed to be looking at here, though. What exactly was the uncle trying to prove? I honestly think he was just trying to entertain and make a funny joke, which is an admirable goal.

9. The Dog and the Caution Tape

This dog is clearly a good pet. It is following the rules, and you have to admire that. Most humans would ignore the tape, and they would probably do so because they intentionally wanted to be jerks.
I have no idea why the dog is there or why the tape is there, but the dog looks pretty calm. He or she is just waiting—I assume—for the tape to be removed.

My dog certainly wouldn’t wait for the tape to be removed. He would probably try to eat the caution tape, which would likely result in a costly visit to the veterinarian. Dogs will eat practically anything. My current dog loves eating toilet paper. I have no idea why. I have yet to eat toilet paper, but I might do it one day just to see what all of the fuss is about. He also really likes the smell of coffee, which even his doctor finds weird. He is not the easiest little thing to deal with, admittedly; he is, however, family.

10. The Girl and the Car

I am really glad the girl in this picture turned out okay. Based on the remnant of that particular tire, things could have gone very poorly for her.

I have a couple of questions, though, about this particular image. First of all, who took the picture? There might have been someone else in the car, I suppose.

Why does she look so happy, though? Was she just trying to post an entertaining image? I suppose she could just be happy to be alive. That makes sense, and I probably would be. Few people want to die in a car accident; it seems like such a messy way to go.

People don’t really think about tire safety until it is too late. Unfortunately, bad tires cause a lot of car accidents. In fact, it has been estimated that over 10,000 accidents every year in the United States are caused by the failure of vehicle tires.

Tires are ridiculously expensive, which is probably why most people don’t replace them as often as they should. If you want a set of really good tires, you are going to end up spending at least a few hundred bucks, and that is if you are driving a sedan or something of the sort. The average cost of replacing a set of tires, at least in the United States, is about $600. Not everyone has that much money to spend.

Considering how happy the young woman in this image is, I am guessing she does have that much money. There can be no other explanation.
