You have surely seen plenty of dad humor online. This type of fun content is one really huge category that deserves a dozen different discussions but we need to say that dads are also husbands – they were also husbands before they became dads eventually. This means that there should be a middle fun category called husband humor, for example. The things that husbands sometimes do are more than enough to make you wonder what were they thinking. Bottom line is, husbands, make hilarious mistakes more often than you could imagine and this is the reason for this list to exist.
1. The gift
We thought that this person simply decided to leave their new nightstand inside the box but then we noticed the wrapping paper. What this image shows is one husband’s attempt to wrap a Christmas gift. Nobody would be surprised here because it is obvious this gift was ordered from Amazon and the recipient surely knew what it was. We hope they liked it despite the ruined surprise.
2. The other gift
Wrapping a present is not as simple as one might think. We believe that people who try to make something extraordinary and put extra effort into wrapping really need to be appreciated. They want to make others happy and impress them with the fine wrapping. In this case, one father did his best to wrap the Christmas presents but he obviously chose the wrong paper.
3. The laundry
Doing the dishes and the laundry are the simplest tasks in every household. Still, one must have some experience in doing it to avoid any kind of trouble. It appears that the husband who put these clothes in the washing machine forgot to empty all the pockets and it seems that most of the pockets were full of miscellaneous stuff.
4. The pillows
We are sure that everyone has done this. Putting pillowcases on pillows is simple despite the fact it looks kind of tricky the first time you do it. In this case, one person shared how her husband did it. It seems that he took her directions literally and did what he thought he was supposed to do. In this case, he was technically correct but the task was not completed.
5. The mugs
Talking about simple tasks around the house, it seems that doing the dishes is something most people would surely do with ease but not this husband. He put these mugs in the dishwasher and he clearly had no idea that they were not supposed to be machine washed. As expected, the lettering was partially ruined and the right mug’s message.
6. The cast iron pan
Here is yet another person who decided to do the dishes because he thought that he was helping his wife this way. As you can see, he really missed the concept behind the cast iron pan and its maintenance. This thing is not supposed to be scrubbed like this and we can only imagine how this man’s wife reacted when she saw it.
7. The Christmas wreath
There is no other time of the year like the holiday season. We love all the hustle and bustle related to the holidays and all the related actions and events. Decorating the house is a must and many families put in the extra effort to make their homes stand out. This husband needed to hang the wreath above the garage door but he obviously had no idea how to do it.
8. The cupcakes
There are numerous things that wives ask their husbands to do and they sometimes let them down by doing the exact opposite. As you can see, the cupcakes one wife asked her man to watch while she showered were completely ruined.
9. The groceries
Grocery shopping is not a walk in the park for some husbands and they buy the wrong things too many times. In this case, one wife asked her spouse to buy corn and flour tortillas and he thought that he was supposed to buy two different things.
10. The diaper
You have probably seen these amazing wool diapers. They do their job and keep the baby warm which is awesome but they need to be handled with care. Washing them is a delicate matter because they can be easily ruined, which is what one husband did here.
11. The potatoes
When it comes to cooking there is probably no easier task than boiling a pot full of potatoes. It appears that this husband was able to mess this up when he turned the wrong stove on and you can see the result.
12. The champagne bottle
Here is yet another husband who decided that the job which he had to do was an easy one but it turned out to be much harder than expected. Chilling the champagne is the kind of thing that is done carefully and not in the freezer.
