The things some people are able to achieve are always inspiring and show us that while we are living in the present, others are doing what they can to bring the future closer. The images below serve as nice examples of that.
1. The escalator
Nobody likes stairs, except for those who use them as training. In other cases, stairs are nothing but an obstacle that stands in our way. There are moments when we cannot simply tolerate another couple of stairs but then were think about escalators. We have all used one but we have never seen a curved one.
2. The keyboard
It appears that some of the best ideas and discoveries are related to security. We live in a world that needs a lot of protection for individuals’ privacy and data. This is why someone came up with this keyboard. It changes its buttons making it impossible for someone to guess a password or pin code by the movement of one’s arm.
3. The light
Talking about security, we just had to show you this neat feature. The amazing device is very simple but that makes it genius and we want one! The idea is that it will imitate the light pattern a TV makes and that could easily fool anyone who tries to break inside your house while you are not there. We guess it is a cheap way to secure your home.
4. The battery
We remember the times when the only source of power for our outside tech gadgets were AAA batteries. Then the rechargable bateries came and we loved that option because they lasted long when you charged them regularly. They were more expensive but it was worth it. This new type is USB-fed and it is awesome!
5. The library
There are moments when you need to respect the rules regardless of your preferences. Being in a library requres you to keep silent and not disturb others’ experience. It seems one library had a nice idea and it took care of the noise problem. They installed neat devices that measured then noise levels.
6. The ATM
One of the most amazing discoveries since humans use money is the ATM, no doubt about that. Still, it hasn’t developed a lot since it was introduced. Other features and services were introduced but nothing major, until this one came out. The ATM you see has the unique option to let you choose the biull you would like to withdraw and that is amazing!
7. The delivery bots
Being able to casually walk on the street and witness a fleet of robots passing by is something nobody would believe to be real in 2005 but it is a normal thing in 2020. This is what one person saw and realized we already live in the future and more amazing things are coming our way, too.
8. The projector
The means of learning have changed over the years and projectors were introduced for a better experience. They are really helpful for making presentations or other kinds of video introductions. It appears that these people took that to the next level and installed a retracring device that was able to lower the projector when needed.
9. The robot
Talking about robotized things and inventions, this supermarket proved to have the vision typical for any futurist community. We have never thought that there will be robots assisting us while we are shopping and this is amazing. The googly eyes ad a really nice touch, too.
10. The homework
It seems that those who can still remember the good old schooldays will be puzzled to see this sheet. It looks like a normal sheet of homework but you cannot help but notice the QR code in the upper right corner. It is obvious that they introduced an entirely new system that we never actually thought about when we were kids.
11. The building
Modern architecture is amazing and can literally make you look twice sometimes. It is obvious that someone created a marvel here and the optical illusion is lovely to see. The facade of the building looks as if it has giant vertical puddles on it which is astonishing, really.
12. The refrigerator
There are refrigerators that could easily impress you with their options and price and that is normal. The basics behind a fridge are obvious and it has only one main purpose – to chill the food and beverages inside. This one, however, is different because it has a revolving system – all the sections turn around a pole in the middle.
13. The vein finder
We had no idea that such a thing existed but apparently, some hospitals have it. The clever device works like an X-ray machine but it is much simpler, as it only illuminates the skin and the veins become visible. It is safe and quick to use, making it a must-have piece of equipment.
14.
Now, this is something utterly amazing and we have never seen it before. This credit card plastic has the same three-digit number all of them have but there is technology involved here. The number changes every few hours to prevent fraud and theft. This is amazing to see and we salute these people for the idea.
