We have all been in a situation when we were eagerly anticipating the delivery of a parcel we bought with great pleasure. Sometimes, we just cannot wait for it to arrive and we try to contain our excitement but we simply cannot. We also want to make sure that all would be well upon delivery so we ask the delivery company couriers to hide the parcel when they leave it in front of the house. This is what the list below is dedicated to – it shows how some couriers take care of that service.
1. The instructions
People say that rules are meant to be broken but this is not the right attitude, of course. What needs to be done should be done when possible. In this case, the courier had specific instructions but they still left the parcel at the front door.
2. The thunderstorm
Well, there is not much that we could add here. It appears that some couriers are living by the motto “it is not my job” while it is, in fact, theirs. When the client specifies something in their order, the courier must do it.
3. The doormat
Regardless of the fact that most homes surely offer at least a few hiding spots, this courier decided to simply put the doormat over the parcel. It appears they found it hard to be creative about this additional task.
4. The stairs
Now, this is one of the worst ways in which a parcel could be left for the recipient to find, and you can see why. We are more than certain that the person who found the note and the parcel under these stairs was not pleased.
5. The other doormat
It appears that more than one courier came up with the brilliant idea of lifting the doormat and leaving the parcel under it. There is no telling how many people saw this setup, as it attracts even more attention this way.
6. The third doormat
There are people who will never settle for mediocre quality and this also goes for the services they receive. In this case, one person came home only to find that the courier left the Amazon parcel under the doormat.
7. The delivery
We guess that every possible service should have the option for rating after it has been delivered. Amazon offers the same, of course, and most people take their time to share how they felt about their delivery. This person definitely had something to complain about.
8. The dog
It seems that some delivery guys need to be aware of the possible problems related to leaving the parcel in the recipient’s yard in case there is a dog on the loose. This client was happy to find that only the package was shredded and not the actual item.
9. The black doormat
Here is yet another case in which the courier simply lifted the doormat and left the parcel under it. There is no doubt that this setup brings way more attention compared to leaving the parcel on the doormat.
10. The delivery person
Here is a client who shared that their courier actually leaves parcels like that all the time. It seems that some people would never change their ways of doing things and this client will continue receiving their parcels like that.
11. The garbage
We guess that everyone should appreciate this person’s effort to hide a parcel behind the trash bin. Of course, this is not a successful effort but the person who posted the image is aware that the garbage men could have easily tossed it in the trash.
12. The Australian parcel
People across the U.S. might think that this happens only to them but this is just not so. We guess that all countries where the courier service companies offer the option for delivery people to hide the parcels become the scene of situations like this one.
13. The receptionist
We are more than certain that whoever decided to leave this parcel there should reconsider their work ethic. Leaving the product that someone paid for and waited for some time near the trash bin is just not right.
14. The rose bush
Now, this is one of the most hilarious examples of delivery goes wrong we have seen in a really long time. As you can see, this person shared the way the courier referred to the rose bush outside their home.
15. The package
We are sure that the people who expected this parcel were really not okay with the way the courier simply left it on their front porch. It seems that anyone could have picked it up.
16. The rocks
We are sure that the courier who left this parcel really thought the job was done and the parcel was well hidden but we can all see that it simply attracts more attention this way.
