You know what they say – one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. We guess that this is always true and we have seen this saying become a reality more than a few times. We have actually taken advantage of the things people get rid of because we needed something they no longer found usable. The list below shows how some lucky individuals were able to get something others do not need anymore.
1. The iPod
It seems that the things that were once super cool because of the new activities they brought to our lives eventually become obsolete, just like anything else you could think of. In this case, a person named Fred threw away his old iPod and someone else found it.
2. The find
It is hard to believe that people are able to throw away things like this item here. As you can see, it is a perfectly good cabinet made from solid wood and looks incredible. We wonder why would someone throw this out.
3. The TV
Sometimes, people throw away things that nobody would even think about getting rid of. Still, they do it and some lucky individuals take advantage of that, which is what happened here. This 50-inch smart TV is what someone considered to be trash.
4. The violin
We cannot believe this but it obviously happened. Someone was determined to get rid of this Mendini violin so they simply tossed it into a trash bin. A person who was walking by saw this and could not believe their luck – this is one curious find!
5. The AirPods
Now, this is something that we find hard to believe. Nobody would throw away a set of AirPods and their charger, all still inside the original box. Even if you don’t need these, you would simply put them in a drawer, not throw them away.
6. The flowers
We cannot believe this but someone actually threw away a bunch of bouquets simply because some of the flowers were fading. One person saw the ordeal and pulled them from the dumpster. After a quick rearrangement, the flowers look gorgeous now.
7. The printer
Here is yet another perfectly food piece of equipment that someone threw away because of a reason we would never know. The printer was probably replaced with a newer model and someone simply tossed it into a college trash bin.
8. The mirror
Here is something a lucky school photographer found and could not believe their luck. During another workday at a school, the photographer found this amazing mirror and immediately put it on the back seat before someone else took it.
9. The chair
Now, this is one curious find. This is one rather expensive office chair and it appears to be in perfect condition, too. There is nothing broken and we cannot understand why would someone throw this item. Maybe they got a new one and threw this one out.
10. The gadgets
Someone noticed that a person threw away a whole box into an electronic waste dumpster and assumed that the contents of that box would be curious to take a look at. They were right: the box was full of working items.
11. The boxes
We guess that people who throw away expensive stuff sometimes do it for a reason – they simply want to get rid of things they no longer want to be around. In this case, someone threw away a couple of boxes full of jewelry that their family did not want and a lucky person took them.
12. The find
We are convinced that those who pay attention to their surroundings are sometimes lucky enough to come across the most amazing things possible. This is how one person found this item and it was brand new, still with its tag hanging on.
13. The chairs
Now, this is one really amazing find. Someone noticed a pair of awesome armchairs sitting on a sidewalk so they took them. The pair was in great condition and even had spare screws taped to their backs.
14. The electric piano
Here is yet another amazing find. Someone was baffled to discover that a person threw away an electric piano in great condition and they took it. Some musician probably had a newer model and got rid of this one.
15. The laptop
This is one of the luckiest people on the list. As you can see, the person shared images of the perfect laptop they found inside a dumpster. We guess that a MacBook is one of the best pieces of trash one could find.
16. The couch
Here is one brand new couch that someone threw away and a lucky person was able to quickly pick it up and take it home. The couch is likely going to be used for a number of years and we like the fact that someone made another person’s day.
17. The ring
“I found this ring in the dumpster on Monday! Had it appraised yesterday and found out it’s a handmade gold ring from the 60s-70s! It’s 14k gold band is worth $200+ (stone is glass). I also found those tiny hands with it haha”
