Being employed is almost never easy. Most people can’t wait to grow up and get a job, thinking that they would enjoy the independence and the perks of it. In reality, most of them soon or later realize they have been involved in something they will never walk away from unless they become rich in a different way. Employment often means you need to live out of a paycheck that’s not enough for you to lead a sustainable life. Still, money is not the only thing that could set someone off when it comes to jobs. We are certain that people have lost faith in their jobs for a plethora of reasons, which is why the list below exists. It was created to show when and why some individuals realized they don’t want to work where they do anymore. Maybe some of these examples would be more or less relatable to you. We know we have recognized a few similar situations in our own experiences with employment.
1. The question

Dan Price is surely one of the most famous CEOs out there, and he became notorious for raising all of his employees’ paychecks while lowering his own. He proved that taking care of his workforce is the right formula. His business has been on the rise ever since he did that. Now, it seems he wants to know what could make people want to quit their jobs. Maybe he needs to know different reasons to quit that he doesn’t want to give his employees.
2. The managerĀ

We remember reading a survey that stated the main reason why good employees leave their workplaces: managers. Yes, bad managers can ruin everything and make a good team quit, resulting in a potential loss for the company. We are quite certain that some individuals would

Wow, this is something that would immediately make everyone who has common sense or dignity leave, and you can see why. Allowing this to happen speaks a lot about the management, and nobody would like to stick around working for people who are okay with such things happening.
4. The owner

Here is how one person was exposed to something that we consider being extremely awkward, not to mention that it is wrong to do this. We understand that some people would be okay with this, but most employees would immediately accept this as a huge red light.
5. The vehicleĀ

Here is how one vehicle became the reason for a lot of situations that this person did not like, and for a good reason. The things that people are forced to put up with in most cases are not nearly as bad as this chain of events. We guess that caring for your workers is the most important thing for any business owner.
6. The statementĀ

We understand that others seldomly care for the well-being of you as their coworker or employee, but this is nothing compared to the thing this person had to go through. Imagine being told such a thing after a similar tragedy. We cannot believe that someone would say such a vile thing.
7. The wedding night

If there is a list of reasons why you should quit your job, this one would be in the top five positions for sure. We understand that people are sometimes too busy to notice that their employees need time off, but we are certain that one’s wedding should be a good enough reason to give them a day off.
8. The recoveryĀ

People are often in doubt whether to quit their job or not, and they need a sign to make a decision. In this person’s case, we guess there was more than a sign for him to be sure he needs to quit. This absurd situation is something that should have never happened. The audacity of this boss is unreal.
9. The two weeks off

This is something that would surely be enough for most people to walk away from this company. Having such a horrible company policy is outrageous, and we believe that threatening someone like that should be prohibited by law. People have their private lives that need to be respected.
10. The leaders

This is a combination of poor management and even poorer human resources policy, and we cannot imagine the number of companies that run their business in a similar fashion. The inability of some companies to manage their staff results in such situations and employees pay the price in most cases.
11. The colleagueĀ

If there is anything that could make someone quit their job immediately, this is it. We understand that some managers have no actual clue about taking care of their employees, but this is something that we can only accept as another level in disrespecting others. We hope this manager was fired.
12. The person

This person seems to be trying to raise awareness about something that we should probably all route for, and we would like to do that, too. It seems that all of the posts on this list would be good enough reasons for authorities to check on how companies treat their employees.
13. The staff

It seems that all of the big companies many people think are top employers are sometimes not the expected place to work at, which is the opinion of this person. We cannot confirm this, but if this was true, then some people at managerial positions there should think more about their employees.
14. The attitudeĀ

The insensitive message and all the rest of the things this person had to go through simply because she had to attend her grandma’s funeral are all great reasons to lose faith in your job or even quit. Such managers and bosses could not care less about your well-being.
15. The email

It seems that some people think their employees will stay at their companies regardless of what or how they do, but this is a mistake. As you can see, this employee obviously lost faith in their job after witnessing such a behavior. It is also visible what the whole ordeal resulted in for the employer.
16. The relation

It seems that some people live the way they don’t want to simply because they have no other choice, and we wish there was something they could do to make it all better for themselves. This employee shared the things they need to put up with every day.
17. The field

This person decided to be very honest about their current situation, and we guess that some of us have been there. Realizing that you need to make a shift for the better is something that feels liberating, but it is a whole new responsibility that you need to take as well.
