We don’t always get what we pay for and that is a fact that some might find infuriating but there is hardly anything we could do about it. It all comes down to expectations vs reality and the list below shows some of the best examples of what happens when they are not the same.

1. The laundry

Using this service is never easy, as you are forced to deal with a lot of people and machines. In this case, the problem was caused by someone who had the audacity to get this person’s laundry out before it dried out completely. Their money was wasted, of course.

Frustration related to food or drinks is the worst kind and this person surely knows how that felt. The soft drink and the sandwich they paid for both got stuck before falling down to the pick-up tray and this is something we don’t want to happen to us.

Here is how someone tried to solve a problem in order to get their money’s worth. A kid received a music box that happened to start playing in the middle of the night. The kid immediately decided that it was haunted and this was their solution. to the problem.

This person wanted to buy a tank top from Walmart and chose the XL size because he is obviously huge. As you can see, the size indication was more about its length rather than the width and you can bet this person was not happy with the purchase.

We love mugs of all shapes and sizes. There is nothing like a cool mug to make someone happy or to add to your collection. Still, there are things that can ruin the good vibe of buying a new mug and this person obviously experienced that.

Disappointment can come in all kinds of forms but paying for something specific and getting the exact opposite is one of the worst ones. This person paid a lot of money to have a window seat but we can all see there isn’t a window near.

It is always a good idea to buy your partner something nice. There is no need for a special occasion. All you need is some money and the desire to make a person happy. Still, this wife surely did not like the perfume her husband got her and she used it as an air freshener in the bathroom.

Kids spend a lot of time playing videogames and this is not something we can refer to as a good habit but it is inevitable. One father wanted to reduce the negative impact by buying his kid a gaming chair. You can see how she used it.

Online shopping is a challenge and we all know that it can lead to a lot of frustration. In this case, someone’s mother was happy to order a cheap swing set from Amazon and she was surprised to see that it was way too smaller than it should have been.

Now, this is the fine kind of trolling we rarely see. Buying an expensive lighter is a risk because one could easily be deceived by something that looks like it and this is what happened here. They were honest about it, at least.

Paying for the best seats to watch a game does not guarantee you will actually see something at all. This person decided to spend some extra cash and have the best possible seats and you can see that it did not work out well for him.
