Even full-grown adults tend to make bad decisions from time to time. That is just one of those sad facts of life. Sometimes people just do not really think about what they are doing, and the results can be disastrous.
In such situations, they really need input from another adult who is actually thinking clearly. There is nothing wrong with that. We all need a bit of advice here and there.
Below you will find 18 examples of situations where the input of a sane adult would have been extremely helpful.
1. Yes We Can English
This is an advertisement for an English tutoring service, but I am not sure I would recommend them. The business, which is apparently in Spain, does not really understand how to use spaces or commas. The design of this logo is just sloppy. What’s with the little heart? Why is that there? Before the design was approved, an intelligent person who was properly trained in graphic design should have weighed in. It would have saved the company a great deal of embarrassment.
While the logo itself is terrible, the website is actually pretty well designed. Apparently the business teaches “English for Fun” to both children and adults, helps prepare students for official exams, teaches “survival English”, and also teaches English for “special events”.
2. The Cartoon Character Cake
Children like animated characters, of course, and a professionally designed cake can cost a lot of money. It is understandable that a novice might try to make a cake that resembles a cartoon character in order to save a bit.
However, if you have absolutely no artistic talent, you shouldn’t even bother trying to make a fancy cake. While whoever made this cake should be applauded for his or her effort, I suppose, the final result is just terrible. It looks like an animated princess had a baby with a troll, and then someone made a cake to look like that bizarre hybrid. I bet the kid for whom this cake was made ended up crying when he or she saw it.
A rational, thinking adult should have stopped this cake from being made. Some people need to acknowledge that they have absolutely no talent.
3. The Mess in the Oven
Cooking is not the easiest thing in the world, true, but it also is not that hard of a task. A lot of people manage to cook their meals each and every day. The meals might not be the most delicious things in the world, but they are edible.
It is really hard to believe someone could mess up quite so badly. I am not even sure exactly what I am looking at. I thought it was chicken at first, but I really can’t be sure.
The person who made this mess should really consider never setting foot in a kitchen ever again and spend the rest of his or her life eating food prepared by professionals. Can you imagine cleaning up that ungodly mess?
4. The Bowflex
It always stinks when you purchase something and do not get exactly what you want. This person, named Flavia, had to make a hole in his or her ceiling because the Bowflex machine was too tall.
At least Flavia, while disappointed, admits that the machine itself is nice. It really is a shame about the ceiling, though.
Bowflex generally makes quality products, which is why the company has been selling workout equipment for over 30 years. The company is based in Vancouver, Washington.
5. The Woman With the Bags on Her Feet
The woman in this image was clearly wearing shoes with high heels at some point during her evening, and they must have been a bit uncomfortable. They are not the most comfortable type of shoe, after all. The young woman didn’t want to walk around with bare feet, though, so she made the only logical choice she could have made and used paper bags to protect her feet.
Really, it makes total sense when you think about it. What else was she going to do? Buy a pair of sneakers for the walk home?
6. The Shoe That is Used as a Bowl
If you spend so much money on shoes that you can’t afford a simple bowl, you need a bit of financial guidance from an actual adult. Shoes can be expensive, but you can also get a perfectly serviceable pair for very little if you don’t care about brands.
Also, if shoes are the reason you are poor, why are you putting them at risk of getting all messed up?
The idea that shoes can land someone in the poor house sounds kind of silly, but the fact of the matter is that shoes can be really expensive. For example, there are the fur slippers made by Gucci. They cost roughly $1800. If you want a pair of sneakers that auto-lace, expect to spend thousands of dollars. One type, made by Nike, costs about $4,000.
7. The Car
It really does look like this car is throwing up out of its tailpipe. An older and wiser car should have lectured the Camry in the image about the side effects of binge drinking. The Camry clearly had a rough night.
The Camry is a pretty popular brand of car; it is made by Toyota and has been manufactured for over 35 years. As a result, there are a lot of them on the road.
8. The Guy With the Gucci Belt
If you are going to spend a lot of money on a belt, you want people to see it, and you don’t always want to tuck your shirt in. Still, cutting a hole in your t-shirt seems like a not a good way to make your belt visible to others.
Gucci belts really can be expensive. According to the website, most of them cost about $450. However, there is one that sells for almost twice that much.
Gucci, which was founded in 1921, directly operates over 250 stores throughout the world. It generates over $4 billion every year in revenue and is considered one of the world’s most valuable brands.
9. The Easter Eggs
These do not look like plastic Easter eggs. They sort of look like a plastic version of the thing used for other purposes, but they do not resemble eggs at all. The guy’s wife probably had a pretty fun Easter holiday, though.
10. The Guy With the Trojan Tattoo
On the one hand, safe sex should be applauded. If you’re going to have relations with a person you are not exclusive with, condom use is a wise choice. They can and do prevent sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and hepatitis B. They can also prevent unwanted pregnancies.
On the other hand, though, if you like condoms so much that you get a tattoo and also take a picture of it, you are a pathetic dirt-bag weirdo—and no person should even consider sleeping with you.
You just know the guy in this image will want the tattoo removed eventually. What an embarrassing conversation that will be when he finally goes to a doctor.
In the United States, Trojan condoms are the most popular condom brand.
11. The Person Eating Pizza With a Fork
The person who posted this picture apparently thinks eating pizza with a fork is strange behavior. Apparently people are far more passionate about this issue than I thought. A lot of people probably think the person in the image needs an adult to tell her how pizza is supposed to be eaten.
There are benefits to eating pizza with a knife and fork, though. You are far less likely to stain your shirt or your dress, for one. Sauce doesn’t dribble when you use a fork and knife.
It also makes you slow down and actually enjoy the pizza—by doing so, you may eat less pizza, which could lead to weight loss, or at least less weight gain. While it looks kind of weird, eating pizza with a fork and knife is actually far more dignified than using your hands.
Actually, in high society, pizza is commonly consumed using a fork. In Asian countries, it is often eaten using chopsticks.
The long and the short of it is that it is perfectly acceptable to eat your pizza using utensils. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
12. The Woman With The Pregnant Knees
This woman’s knees do kind of look pregnant. An adult should have warned the woman’s knees about the consequences of unsafe sex.
13. The Athlete Getting Sprayed In the Crotch
Why this young woman is getting sprayed is anybody’s guess, but we certainly hope a responsible adult is there to offer her the support she probably needs.
14. The Person With the Watch
The person wearing this watch absolutely needs an intelligent adult—in the form of a trained medical professional. What exactly is going on in this image? The image is kind of weird looking honestly, but the watch appears to be a nice one.
15. The Subway Sandwich
This appears to be a sandwich from Subway containing many cookies. An adult is definitely needed in this case. Can you imagine how many calories such a sandwich contains?
I did not know that Subway would make such a thing. It definitely looks delicious, but it must be positively terrible for you.

16. The Girl With the Eyebrows
The girl in this picture is really quite lovely, except for the fact she appears to be intentionally highlighting her eyebrows. An adult should probably tell her to stop doing that. It is not a good look on her.
She really does have lovely eyes. It is too bad that all one can focus on are her brows.
17. The Guy Who Called The Girl the Princess
Apparently JT thinks that he has game. What woman would respond to this message, though? What did happen, exactly, to the last princess? Wouldn’t a normal woman be a bit curious? Also, who calls a woman he just meets “princess”? That is just strange.
I am hoping Diana did not respond to that message.
18. The Guy With the Ice on His Arm
The guy in this image was probably trying to make a joke, but you really can’t be sure. That is definitely an interesting look.
