They say that the simplest things are sometimes the most genius of them all. We guess this is true because our lives have become instantly easier thanks to simple solutions. It might be a household hack or a nifty little thing that happened to be near you when you needed it the most. We are not alone, or so it seems. The following list shows how people enjoyed simple solutions that should be everywhere around us.
1. The ruler
Everyone has used a ruler at least once in their lifetime. It is surely one of the simplest devices we all have in our homes, and it comes in handy in various situations. This one in particular offers a twist that we have never seen before. Its end is raised so you could pick it up easier when it’s placed on a flat surface. It might not be much but we love this small hack.

Any idea related to making people consider recycling their trash is worth the effort, and this one is awesome.

Yes, this is a device shaped like Mickey Mouse’s hands, and it is meant to be used for eating salty foods such as popcorn, or tortilla chips. There is a fairly good reason why you should try it out and use it often. It keeps your fingers clean and you need clean fingers once you are done eating popcorn at the cinema.

Now, this is something that people should consider doing every time they think about throwing out books. Even if you don’t need them anymore, no book is worthy of ending up in the trash bin. As you can see, books can be an awesome decoration, and this restaurant has an entire wall of books nobody needs anymore.

Talking about books, this one is a real gem because it has a feature that every other book should have. As you can see, the corners of the book have been trimmed on purpose, and the pages have been rounded accordingly. This is done to prevent the inevitable damage most books with hardcovers eventually suffer.

Here is one extremely simple, yet awesome idea that all fitness lovers would immediately fall in love with. If you have ever opened a jug of protein, you would know the scoop is deep down inside the powder, and you must dig it out, which is hard. In this case, the manufacture made sure that all clients would never have to dig for it. Everyone should steal this idea.
10. The designÂ
As we already mentioned, having something seemingly insignificant and admiring its smart design can be rewarding. This is the case with the air freshener you see here. It was meant to look like a record player and when you turn the air conditioner on, it turns just like a real record.
11. The jerky
We all love beef jerky and we think that it is nothing but the ultimate snack. Whenever you crave something tasty to nibble on, beef jerky is there for you to enjoy. Still, someone came up with an idea that might just be better than the classic jerky. We must try this!
12. The gift card
Any successful business owner would tell you that one of the ways to reach a good profit is by reducing costs. As much as we like cost-effective solutions, you would never reach this level. As you can see here, Amazon decided to turn the packaging into a gift card, which is an awesome idea.
13. The sink
It seems that not everyone would be willing to wash their hands after visiting the restroom but those who do it all the time would love this idea. As you can see, the sink has incorporated all three steps of the usual hand washing routine. Even the dryer is there for your convenience.
14. The pictures
We have all been to large shopping centers and immensely huge grocery supermarkets, too. The refrigerators in some of them make it hard to see what’s inside, and you are forced to read the labels. This shop has done what it takes to please all customers, including printing the images of the contents of the refrigerators.
15. The chair
This is by far one of the best ideas on the list. It appears that people who often visit public places, such as universities, restaurants, or conference halls, can relate to this image. They could only wish for all these locations to have chairs like this one. The clever design makes it easier to hang a purse or a laptop bag.
16. The surprise
Well, this one is not exactly a solution to a problem, but it is the kind of product presentation we love to see. This person bought a kitchen thermometer and was surprised to find a bag of Jelly Belly candy inside. They appear to be unrelated but it is a nice compliment, don’t you think?

Hand sanitizers are everywhere around us, and there is no telling how many times we have used them until now. Still, we have yet to see one as clever as this one. It is a sanitizer that is built in a door handle, and this is the kind of idea we like to see. Whoever invented this was a clever person!

Here is one more beautiful reminder of how easy it is to do something for the environment. It takes a small effort, but it goes a long way. We believe that whoever put this pizza box container there decided to make it easier for people to recycle their large pizza boxes.

Here is a nifty little thing that almost every single person would simply love to have at home or use when at a public place. We have never seen a toilet lid that has a small section that makes it easier to be lifted without touching the part of the lid where people sit. It is a very simple but effective solution to a problem most people have.

There are a lot of gadgets that make our lives easier every day, but there are even more we have never heard of. As you can see, someone shared a picture of their universal chargers, and it seems that there is absolutely no device these things cannot charge.
