John Cena has always been one of our favorite celebs. He is a great person and a true professional. He has made a career as an actor because he has what it takes. Also, the jokes related to him and the way he handles them speak of his character and sense of humor.
The story below shows why we like him so much. A mother with a son with special needs left Ukraine due to the incredibly tough situation there that’s been devastating the country for almost four months now. She promised her son, a nonverbal boy with Down syndrome, that he would get to meet his hero, John Cena if they managed to safely leave the country and arrive in another country. They arrived in the Netherlands and the boy only agreed for that to happen in exchange for a meeting with Cena. Wouldn’t you know, it, the meeting took place shortly after, as the star surprised the family in Amsterdam.
1. The son
This is Misha, the brave 19-year-old boy who agreed to flee Ukraine and avoid a grim fate only because he truly wanted to meet John Cena. He even cried at night because he really didn’t want to miss another second and meet his hero as soon as possible.
2. The actor
This is Cena, pictured on his way to meet the family. When he learned about the boy, he did not hesitate to respond and make his dream come true. This is what makes him a great person. His shirt says it all – respect for him.
3. The meeting
It is true what they say. One’s dream can come true only if one believes in it, which is what happened here. You can see the boy’s smile and the mother’s reaction in this picture, and it says it all. There are no words to describe what this meant to them both.
4. The hug
We think that Cena never poses when he does something great and wholesome. He does it because he is driven by his heart. It tells him that it is the right thing to do, and he does it because he truly wants to make someone happy. This is a nice example of that.

When we saw the video, we really thought that Cena was a hero, but so was Misha’s mother – Liana. He only agreed to leave his home country because his mother made a strong promise to him and she also did everything to make it come true.

John Cena seemed to enjoy the meeting just as much as Misha did, and we can clearly see this in the picture above. The actor traveled a long way to meet the boy and make him believe that dreams come true.

We know that doing what you love is the ultimate goal, but Cena does it in a way that inspires others to do the same. In this picture, you can see him trying to compare his muscles with Misha’s gains and make him feel as tough as he is.

We have yet to experience the great feeling of having someone who matters a lot to us meet us in such a wholesome and surprising way. We also have idols we want to meet, but we know that the special people out there deserve to meet legends more.

But Cena did not stop there. He gave Misha his championship belt as a reminder of the hard work that resulted in his success. As you can see, Misha could hardly believe that he gets to hold this precious item in his hands, but his love for Cena made that happen.

The actor never misses the chance to express his feelings and emotions, and this special moment was not an exception. The legend told Misha that they were now friends and that the experience was something special for him as well.
12. The gratitude
There is nothing we could say about this picture, as it is worth a thousand words. Making such a huge promise to her son was a big burden for the mother, but we guess that she felt the biggest relief in her life when it finally happened for real.
13. The goodbye
Saying goodbye after such a special meeting was surely not an easy thing to do. The emotions and the feelings that got the better of everyone involved probably took their toll and it was hard for Misha to let go of his favorite person ever.

Being there for Misha and his mother when they needed it is what makes Cena a living legend. We are sure that the actor will do many other awesome things in his life, but we think this meeting was one of the coolest things he has ever done.
