Most people underestimate the power of graphic design. What seems to be easy and straight-forward is actually very hard and responsible – ask any designer and they will tell you that their line of work is nothing but challenging. As you are about to see, even the smallest details matter a lot. In this case, spacing is the cause of some hilarious ads that went very wrong because of wrong spacing.
1. The menu
Some mistakes are very hard to notice but others are obvious, just like in this case. This menu needs to be replaced as soon as possible because it sends a different message.
2. The designer
This is how irony works. The text you see should be the last one that contains issues in its spacing. Nobody should get an award for doing work with such poor quality.
3. The weather
Here is how bad spacing can be troubling, especially in the left picture of the middle row. While you can see what the others state, this one reads “doudy”.
4. The weird ad
Print ads need to be as specific as possible, otherwise, they are nothing but a waste of time and resources. As you can see, it is pretty curious to see, especially when it comes to spacing.
5. The final countdown
Seeing this would surely make you chuckle and we can all see what is wrong with the spacing here. The font they chose also contributes to this effect, we guess.
6. The gel
Medical care requires accuracy because a slight difference might be crucial for the end result of the treatment. As you can see, this burn gel needs a new label.
7. The big space
Seeing this really puzzled us because we could not decide if this was a mistake created by pure chance or an intended one. Either way, it is very funny.
8. The click
We all remember this tiny assistant in word but we never actually paid attention to these pieces of advice. Seeing this made us grin really wide!
9. The wise men
Poor design can lead to a plethora of funny and sometimes embarrassing moments and you can see how this happens here. This design is not appropriate!
10. The glasses
We guess that Don did not eat anyone’s old glasses at this place but the sign with the wrong spacing you see suggests exactly that and we think it is funny!
11. The meat
This clock was intended to look original with its distinctive design but instead if reading “You had me at hello”, it reads “You mad meat hello” which is hilarious to see.
12. The coin
We are not entirely sure what went wrong here but we can all see that the word coin reads cow instead and that changes the whole meaning of the instruction.
13. The logo
Here is one curious comparison of one brand’s old and new logos. It seems that this trend should not go on in the same direction and you can see why.
14. The spacing
We get it why they left some spacing where there should not be any. Still, we think that they had to think more about the idea before using it.
15. The picture
Now, this is surely one of the funniest pictures we have seen and they used this everlasting feud for the sake of deciphering this license plate.
16. The ambulance
Here is something that most people would accept as inappropriate and we can all see why. Positioning and spacing were key here.
17. The reality
If you happen to have friends who currently work as designers, you can show them this image and later see the result – they would surely be annoyed by it.
18. The font
Now, this is one very tricky ad. One might think that it was a mistake caused by the spacing but we guess the font was chosen to create that effect.
19. The trophy
Here is one person who is in for a surprise and we think that she needs to read the diagnose before posting on social media. It appears that atrophy is not a joke.
20. The level
We have seen many different parking lots in our time but we have never seen one with a pupper level before. We guess it is reserved for puppies who can drive.

They really had to double-check this sign before installing it because there is one spacing that changes the whole meaning.

We are not sure if the sign reads God is nowhere or God is now here and we guess they need to correct the spacing here.

Here is yet another example of how choosing the correct spacing and using the appropriate font are extremely important.
24. The store
What was supposed to be a sign that reads Bull Titan U.S. turned into something completely different and ridiculous.
25. The hat
We believe that this hat is nice but it has a flow that we all see. Maybe it is not a genuine item but we will never know.
26. The poster on the doors
Apparently this poster was on every single door right before the finals. Yet there is another example why spacing is so important.
27. The car
We are pretty sure the dude meant to have a sing stating VICIOUS INC. Established 2015 on his car. Well, if you take a closer look at it and get your imagination running you will be able to see it.
28. Progressive
Progressive is maybe one of the biggest insurance companies and definitely shouldn’t allow mistakes like this to happen. but it is still kind of funny.
29. The Set
Oh, the irony?!? Can you feel it? Because we certainly can. Well, we are pretty sure they meant not to separate the set, but still.
30. Reload or Click
Well, it suppose to read “Reload or Click”. This was shared from another user who saw it on his homework.
