Tech support is probably one of the most underrated departments in every corporate structure. Despite the fact some people think they sit around all day doing nothing, tech support employees have a lot on their heads. For instance, they need to put up with all the demands people working at their company have when it comes to maintenance. Sometimes, these requests are more than absurd. Luckily, we get to see some examples that tech support employees shared for everyone to see.
1. The charging stations

Not much could be added here, except for a question: what were these people thinking when they tried to make that protector work? It appears that it is not even remotely close to what it should be. No tech guy could fix this.

Sometimes, the people who call tech support are a bit too late when they call with a problem. It seems that this is the case here. We believe that this phone would end up in the trash bin because we are quite certain nobody could repair it successfully.

People get attached to different things. No matter if it is a pencil or a car, for example, we tend to keep things forever, even though they are not worthy anymore, or usable, for that matter. This is the case with this keyboard.

We all know that Asia is a place where people in big cities tend to keep everything in order. The lack of free space demands a good plan for everything you can think of. Still, these cables are tangled beyond any reason.

We are convinced that there is a reason why some people have tech equipment that lasts forever while some certain individuals cannot keep any tech gadgets pristine for a long time. The reason is simple: lack of knowing how things work.

We know that people who are not that into computers are finding it very hard to handle them, even when it comes to shipping them. The sensitive bits and components need to be preserved carefully. This is not what happened here.

Having a wireless mouse is nice because it gives more freedom of movement, not to mention the lack of that annoying cable. This person wanted such a mouse and his kid heard him, so it was done in an instant.
16. The solutions
We think that machinery has sometimes a way of messing around for no obvious reason or logic. There are moments when you might think it is possessed. In this case, two days of troubleshooting did not help but flipping the printer over did.
17. The meltdown
The complaint here was the PC refuses to turn on. The tech support staff quickly found the reason why – the power cable had completely melted down. As you can see, this unit has lived its last day serving its owner.
18. The rice
Water and moisture are most smartphones’ worst enemy and we all know there is one solution that sometimes does the trick when the phone is wet. Rice is the path to go! But you need to put the phone in rice, not the other way around.
19. The power board
Now, this is the kind of thing you don’t see every day. Trying to organize our power boards and outlets is a good idea but you need to do it right. Tightening it with a screw is a huge no-no, as it could lead to a lot of trouble.
20. The syrup
There are moments when people regret their decisions but it is usually too late to reverse them. In this case, one person realized that maple syrup and laptops need to be far apart. Carrying them in the same box is a bad idea, obviously.

We get that people who are sent to deal with a problem at any facility are never fully prepared for what is about to come their way. This is exactly how these tech support employees felt when they saw this mess at a restaurant.

When you call tech support, there is only one thing they could do – fix the problem. The trick is, you need to call them on time. When it is too late, nobody could do a magic trick and restore things as they were. In this situation, things are way out of control.

Here is why people who are not tech-savvy should never try to fix their equipment if they are not sure what to do. As yo can see, this person decided to rip open the PC case and replace the mainboard. This is definitely not how this should be done.
24. The harddrive
Having an issue with a piece of equipment sometimes leads to unexpected outcomes. We are certain that people who have never fixed a piece of tech before would be shocked to see a harddrive in such a poor condition. This one is shattered beyond repair.
25. The laptop
Here is how a laptop should never be used. The battery of this device started to swell but the people who use it did not mind it at all and kept charging and using the machine. This is not a good idea, as the battery may burst if overcharged.
