In chaos theory, the butterfly effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions in which a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state. The term is closely associated with the work of mathematician and meteorologist Edward Lorenz.
In other words small decisions you make can make a huge difference in your life after time.
The two pertinent things that the butterfly effect teaches us is that small things matter, and we are all connected to a bigger system. Our action now, today, would have been the result of a previous action and this could in turn, lead to a future action. With one small gesture, you can change somebody’s life.

1. This dude’s life turned around after a small decision he made.
This dude is pretty lucky and now alive and wealthy, because of a small decision he made going to the bathroom. After years, the outcome for the dude was pretty good. I will not call this story luck. It’s just what happens when we take the right decisions at the right time.
2. The real love.
In this scenario the person decided to just invite the only one friend he has to hang out with his new chem lab partner. Well, they became friends and the man ended up marrying her roommate and live happily since.
3. The lady and the “who want’s to be a millionaire”.
This lady was so bored with the people who were on that show that decided to apply herself. They chose her, she won pretty good money and went on a vacation where she met her man. Great story.
4. This man changed his mother’s life.
If she hadn’t come with her son she would have never met her long lost biological brother. This story is really heartwarming because there is nothing better than knowing your family.
5. The party.
This man took a last minute decision to go to his friend’s divorce party and he met his wife there. If he hadn’t go, he wouldn’t have met his wife.

Thanks to the decision to go to that study group this man have good friends now. I really hope they will be friends forever.

This man found out what he loves doing just because he was being pretty bored. He didn’t have installed game to play, so he decided to “play” around with Windows XP movie maker. Now he is working on a TV production as a video editor.

Well, this small decision had a big and positive impact on his life. If we wouldn’t have decided to change the light bulb now his life would be totally different.

We all know that there is a saying that states that when you go to a family gathering or other kind of party you should do it with your own car, so you can leave whenever you like. Well, the person here took that decision and got pretty lucky for it.

This dude took a decision to take a web design course, because he thought it was easy. Now thanks to that course he is leading an android development team.

I am not too sure if this is a good example of the butterfly effect, but thanks to the decision he took to park the car across the street from a house that had a cameras this guy was able to get $4k from the insurance company.

Well, this dude basically described the result in his decisions in a quite ironic way, but this is still example of the butterfly effect as well.

Thanks to this guy being bored he found out what he can do for living. Being an artist is something which you either have, either don’t, so this guy just found it.

Well, the guy was kind of right, but unfortunately this is life. 6/7 days we do pretty much the same stuff, which is quite boring, but there is nothing we can do about it, because we all have to work to make a living.

Thanks to the decision to submit application to one last position this guy got hired and now he’s been working for that company for 5 years and there is quite a chance he will make a career out of it. I wish him luck.
23. The hockey
This dude went to play hockey, because he was thinking “it’s not that hard”. Well, after that he grew interested and loved it. Now he’s playing at national level for 4 years.
24. The houseboat
This guy decided to get a houseboat and he went through a lot which resulted in meeting his wife and having kids.
25. The flights
This story is pretty amazing and thanks to this guy not being able to fit everything he wanted he changed the flights which resulted good.
26. The hiking
Thanks to the decision to agree on hiking with friends this guy totally changed his wife in a good way, so the moral of the story is to try new things until you find your way to happiness.
