We all happen to come across curious things from time to time, but we rarely get to find something we have no clue about. This is what the list below is about. Here is something that looks ordinary at first, but it is more than meets the eye. The person found it on the beach after it was washed ashore, and it happened to be a specific container, the kind used to house someone’s ashes.
5. The piece

We haven’t seen something such as this one, and the person who found it also had no clue what this specific needle was. As it turned out, this wasn’t a needle at all, but a bead knotting tool. We haven’t seen such a thing.

This small brass item was a complete mystery to the person who found it. The person described the item while sharing its picture, and the people of Reddit quickly gave an answer to that mystery. It was an adjustable powder measure.
11. The machine
This clever-looking device seems to have a specific purpose, but the person who found it had no idea what it was or what it did. It turned out to be a widely used machine back in the day: a tilted bandsaw.
12. The small item
This small plastic item looked like a tool, but the person who found it had no idea what it was. After posting it on Reddit, it was revealed that the item was a tool used by electricians to install things.

This is one amazing thing that is also very creepy. Someone found this creature and was amazed by it. It turned out to be a phobetron pithecium – or, as we all know it, a moth, but in its early life.
21. The leather piece
Here is something small and leather-made, but the person who found it had zero clue about what it was. We are not sure what it is, either. It turned out to be a bookmark, and we would have never guessed it.
22. The camera
Here is how a security camera captured this man knocking on someone’s door. He carried some devices that obviously did something. The people on Reddit guessed that it was an animal tracking device used for hunting.
23. The scanner
This person shared a picture that showed a policeman on a rooftop holding a scanner emitting a green light. This was during a protest. It turned out his job was to point out specific people to his colleagues on ground level.
24. The antenna
Someone noticed this Jeep had been fitted with an incredibly tall antenna that measured at around 15 feet. It was something you can’t see every day – a ham radio antenna.
25 The appliance
Someone was baffled about finding this unusual kitchen appliance and had no idea why it could be split open. The people on Reddit quickly provided an answer: it was a holder for stainless steel mesh scrubber.
26. The log
This is one very curious thing, and we haven’t seen anything like it. It seems there is a tube inserted into this log, and we have no idea what it does. After checking on Reddit, it turned out to be a flower vial.
