People are sometimes funny or annoying in their effort to either attract your attention or when they need something. This is something we all know, but there are moments when you might actually find it unbelievable how stupid their efforts can turn out to be. We mean, asking a question that makes sense is one thing, but asking something plain stupid is beyond annoying – it is the kind of content worth sharing. This is what this list aims to demonstrate, and we are happy that a lot of people took their time to share the stupid things others have asked them.
1. The Nike store
Well, there is no better way for us to start this list. As you can see, one person failed to understand the concept of a store dedicated to a single brand, due to the brand owning it. What seems obvious was something hard to grasp by this lady.
2. The passenger
It seems that people are keen on putting their own comfort above anything else, and they pay little to no attention to what others are saying to them. This flight attendant had the perfect chance to shut the passenger down. We hope she did.
3. The cafe
There are moments when we need to stop for just a second and reread the thing we just saw. This was such a moment. How could someone actually think that the two types of coffee would not blend when poured inside the same cup?
4. The high school
We understand that some individuals try to stand out from the crowd by shaming others or making them feel less of a person. In this case, the thing this bully wannabe did was to make themselves look stupid.
5. The carrier
Now, this is one classic question that probably most mailmen and couriers would be able to hear every other day. How could the delivery person know what is inside the package or letter? These are personal, no peeking inside is allowed.
6. The buddy
It seems that many people ask stupid questions now and then, but the one you see here tops most of them. As you can see, this person was probably not a good student, otherwise, they would have known the concept of the thermos.
7. The worker
It seems that people need to learn a lot of concepts if they want to thrive in life, but they should start with the basic ones, such as passwords and how they apply them as a security feature. In this case, one lady needs to learn about that fast.
8. The job
People often misinterpret information they hear, but trying to ask the thing you just heard the answer to is either a bad joke or simply a sign of stupidity. This is the kind of situation you would like to not be in.
9. The location
Now, this is one of our favorite topics of them all: locations and geography. This is one of the fields when you can read or hear absolute gems from people from all over the world. This is one of the best possible examples.
10. The braids
Well, there are numerous ways in which people could show they have a lot to learn about others, and this tweet shows what we mean. Trying to explain the reason for such a question would be hard.
11. The color
Now, this is something to think about. If someone wants you to tell them the color of their eyes, you might think that they are joking or acting funny for some reason. We cannot believe someone does not know the color of their eyes.
12. The wondering
People are judgemental and we know they often mean no harm, but their efforts to make something clear are seemingly stupid in most cases. This tweet revealed one such situation, and we like it a lot.
13. The phone
This is one of the most extreme cases of confusion we have seen, and we had a good laugh. It seems that this person’s mother needs to sit down for a moment and just have a few moments off.
14. The uniform
Sometimes, people are insecure and they feel like they should not ask about this and that when they should. We know that when these questions are not needed, they are sometimes the stupid kind that end up on list like this one.
15. The water
If there is one thing we really do not like about people and the things they do, it is the obvious things they point out much too often. This is why the Captain Obvious joke emerged, and you can see why that happened in this tweet.
16. The bottle
If a question seems to be very stupid, it might not have to do with the question itself, but with the reasons it was asked. As you can see, the person who was called to clean this up was not supposed to ask questions at all.
17. The friend
Wow, imagine just how twisted some people’s perceptions of the world can be. This person obviously thought that people are living in some kind of fantasy countries just because they are really far across the globe.

It appears that trying to be polite sometimes is not the best of ideas. In this case, waking up a person by mistaking the phone number you dialed is something you should only apologize for, not ask the obvious.

Here is yet another example of the things people should easily understand the concept of, but usually fail to do so. As you can see, someone had to think twice before asking something they shouldn’t have.

Hopefully, people would one day stop asking about the obvious or pointing it out, but we think this is likely never going to happen. We like it how this person responded, although they likely said that to themselves.

In addition to the previous post, you can see that we had to give another example by adding this tweet as well. Pointing out the obvious has never been stronger than the situation explained above. People need to stop doing this.

There are moments when you see people behave in a certain way. You know them well, but you just refuse to believe they said or asked the thing they just did. We understand how the person who tweeted this felt. It was fun to see this.

No, this is not the literal meaning of dash. It turned out this person named her son Dash, and Dash really wanted to know his own mother knew that his name was, in fact, Dash. Now, this is some funny material to read.
24. The menu
It appears that people will never seize to amaze us with the completely unnecessary questions they ask. Why would someone decide to ask if the menu they were holding was actually the menu they needed.
25. The coworker
Well, we need to say that this question is not entirely stupid, but the person who had to respond misinterpreted it a bit. The asker simply wanted to know if the tattoo was permanent, or one of those temporary sticker types.
26. The som
No matter how hard you try to explain something to a kid, you need to brace yourself, as the kid might not get the concept you are trying to teach them. In this case, the kid needs to learn a thing or two about generations and time.
27. The patient
The doctors taking care of you, no matter the conditions, are always doing their best to make you feel good. As you can see, this person needed to realize they could not be completely recovered immediately after the intervention.
28. The branch
Now, this is the kind of question that some people might find to be disrespectful, not to mention that the person’s uniform spoke clearly of their occupation.
29. The deal
It seems that some people try to push their luck a lot further than they should, and this is what happened here. As you can see, someone asked for a whopping discount that could wow them, and that’s just stupid.
