Working in any retail niche is never easy. We believe that all those who are involved in communicating with people all day long would easily confirm just how hard, boring, or challenging it can be, to name a few things. This applies when you work in a library, too. It might come as a surprise to some, but librarians learn a lot about people from interacting with them. The list below shows the things a woman learned about people from her personal experience.
1. The things

We find it hard to believe that many people struggle with such clocks, but we guess getting used to digital ones can cause this problem. Also, spelling the word library should not be that hard.
2. The book lending

We can understand that people could be confused by how a library works the first time they use one, but having no clue about the differences between these genres puzzles us.
3. The codes

Here is one of the posts on the list that sounded weird to us, but we guess that if the above is as described in reality, then people need to know better.
4. The audiobooks

This is what we love about people who never give up. They can be way past their retirement age, but they continue to be eager to read and learn new things. Salute to them!
5. The computers

Imagine how you can meet someone in present day that has never used a telephone in their lifetime. It seems absurd, but these people apparently exist.
6. The DWP

Here is how a single post can make us respect librarians even more than we already did. There is no telling just how many people have taken advantage of their kindness.
7. The services

There is plenty more you can do at a library than just read books or other materials. There are numerous services that you can take advantage of.
8. The banks

We understand that we live in a digital era, but nobody could or should require you to have an email. Still, most people are forced to register one.
9. The silence

This is something that we think should be advertised. There are many things that people should learn about the libraries in their present form.
10. The hours

This is a very important thing to point out about libraries. Most people are not entirely sure if being at a library would be free or it would cost them something, which is why they avoid going inside one.
11. The authors

It seems that the variety of authors out there is too big for a person to read in their lifetime, but some individuals prefer to stick to only a few authors they are sure they like a lot.
12. The staff

This is valid for every public institution, not just libraries. The team who runs the place makes all the difference and can bring either success or failure.
13. The funding

This is one huge problem for many libraries. They need to take into account the things young people prefer, and they need to implement them ASAP.
14. The staff

Here is yet another problem related to people’s preferences and level of understanding this or that. Not being keen on social media is a huge no-no if you run a library.
15. The facilities

People working in libraries usually love their jobs so much they substitute the funding they should get. Paying out of your pocket to keep the facility running is an awesome thing to do, although it should not be a thing. Funding needs to be provided.
16. The kids

This is one sweet post that we liked a lot. It seems that paying attention to the kids and adults with special needs is something worth praising. Not everyone would do that.
17. The ladies

It may be unfortunate to note this, but older people still read more than younger ones. We hope this will change soon, which will ensure libraries will keep working.
18. The staff

We understand that this is not just a form of kindness, but a way for the librarians to know the books they offer others. This is how they could recommend a title without reading it.
19. The users

This is yet another awesome post that reveals just how cool librarians can be. This person shared that she loved the cute couples described above, and we like people who express empathy.
20. The moment

This is one important stage in the lives of people who are keen on becoming library users for life, and we think that being able to have access to every corner of the library is awesome.
21. The challenges

Now, this is one funny post that reveals the truth. We understand that people who are used to having coffee can be rather unpredictable when they haven’t had their caffeine dose.
22. The comment

Here is how one person was very touched and impressed by all the post the librarian shared. We like it how she was willing to go and get a book only to make a librarian’s day. This is an awesome thing to do.
23. The neighborhood

This is yet another post that is supportive, but in a different way. The person who followed the whole topic decided to share how she felt about the library in her own neighborhood.
24. The librarian

People might think that being a librarian is boring, but we guess that this is far from the truth. The challenges and rewarding moments related to this job make some people dream of it.
25. The love

Here is yet another user who thinks that being in a library now and then is a blessing. Spending quality time at a such a facility can bring many benefits your way, not to mention the peace and quiet involved.
26. The months

Some people get used to spending a lot of time in a library, and this person shared that being there every day for hours became a part of their life. We know that people love being there because they feel like they grow one day after another.
27. The homes

We have never imagined that a library could be a shelter for many people, but this post made us realize that it could be the perfect refuge for those willing and needing to get out of their usual environment.
28. The places

This person decided to boast about the privilege of having the whole library to himself during lunch time. It seems that it was a special time that not all people were entitled to enjoy. We are glad he loved these moments.
29. The work

This person simply decided to thank the person who started the thread and all other librarians out there for their continuous effort to help people and to encourage them to read and learn new things.
30. The relation

Some people could relate to all the posts above simply because they work the same thing. Being a librarian seems that some people would respect you for the things you do to help complete strangers.
31. The summary

This person is one of the many lucky individuals who were happy to befriend their local librarian and to learn a lot of new things from them, for which they would be forever grateful.
