There are numerous great design ideas that can impress you and we can think of many examples but there are also designs that can either make you laugh or cringe. There are examples literally everywhere and the list below contains some of the best ones we have ever seen.
1. The shoemaker
This is one obvious example of how things can go wrong with a business sign.
2. The table cloth
This is not human hair – it is just part of the cloth’s design, unfortunately.
3. The pants
It seems that this person was not aware that these pants look like he wet them.
4. The Louisiana sign
This was a great idea but the contours of the state of Louisiana do not look like an “O”.
5. The Halloween costume
This was supposed to look like Pennywise but it is terrifying in its own way, we guess.
6. The colors
For some reason, someone decided to use blue to indicate warm temperatures and heat.
7. The staircase
These stairs might look pretty but they have to be used really careful.
8. The clock
Wall clocks come in all shapes and sizes but this one is just plain ridiculous.
9. The elevator
There are many confusing elevator instructions but this is the worst one we have ever seen.
10. The manual
It appears that whoever came up with this manual had to think of another cover design.
11. The sizes
Here is how one designer decided to use the XXL size and create the XXXL by stretching it.
12. The restaurant
Now, this is the kind of inconvenience that the designer of this restaurant surely failed to see.
13. The uniform
We are not entirely sure about this but the space force probably doesn’t need camouflage uniforms.
14. The carpet
Putting such a carpet on hallway stairs is surely not the brightest idea of them all.
15. The mannequin
It seems that someone wanted to make an impression here but it looks kind of weird.
16. The call
This is a copywriting fail – the man actually called the woman to ask her for her phone number.
17. The tooth
We will never understand why this tooth had to have a leaf there, implying it had a gender.
18. The sign
Someone was not aware of the fact that the sign was supposed to commemorate WWII, not WW11.
19. The label
Now, this is surely the most confusing label anyone can find. We guess they eventually fixed this.
20. The flag
For some reason, someone decided to organize a straight pride but the sign does not look straight at all.
21. The pole
This backroad looks like it was built recently but this pole makes it super dangerous.
22. The pen
It appears that someone followed the wrong instructions here and this pen is hilarious to see.
23. The slide
Whoever came up with the idea of this slide needs to take a step back and look at their creation.
24. The landscape design
There are more than a few things that could go very wrong here and you can see why.
25. The bathroom
Well, we guess we don’t have to explain why this bathroom design is a huge fail.
26. The teeth
Some advertisements do not turn out to be as clever as they were intended to be.
27. The wrappers
Selling bananas individually does not require wrappers because bananas have peels.
28. The body
This gym mural is weird for one apparent reason. They could have just added a pair of painted shorts.
29. The sign
This sign would surely attract everyone’s attention but nobody would be able to figure it out.
30. The picture frame
Of all the generic images they could have used to decorate this frame, they chose the most inappropriate one.
31. The plastic
It is kind of weird to sell a book preaching against plastic that is wrapped in plastic.
32. The advertising
We get the idea behind this ad but it is surely not sending the message it was supposed to.
33. The invitation
Here is yet another ad that had a good idea behind it but it looks quite different when finished.
34. The stairs
It seems that nobody would be able to come down these stairs safely, as they are hidden in plain sight.
35. The emoji
This is the kind of inappropriate ad that could make anyone laugh! They surely used a weird emoji here.
