We all dream of being somewhere distant or exotic, or why not both? Still, the chance for a long holiday somewhere is always slim, and we get to travel no more than a couple of times a year. The things we like about it the most are the new experiences and the sites we see. But it is not the same joy for the people who live where we would love to visit. We might be excited to be here or there, but locals would often look at us as the annoying tourists we might be without even realizing it.
