A twitter user Elektra shared her thoughts on being fired and replaced by much younger woman. In the initial post she states that the company have been trying to get rid of her for the last 3 years and they finally did. She states that she’s good at her job, but despite that the company chose to replace her. People in Twitter responded to her post and a quite big discussion has started. Twitter user Fly Guy states that the younger generation don’t really want to work with the older one and this is one. He also states that the younger generation is on their phones all the time, which will never happen with the older generation.

Another user is advising her to get a part time job, something like walking people’s dogs when they can’t or similar. Also she’s advising her to find what she loves and to start working for herself. She’s also ensuring her that her life will be calm and stress free.

To my personal opinion there should be the same opportunity with older and younger people and the companies should keep in mind that salary should be base according to experience.
