A twitter user Elektra shared her thoughts on being fired and replaced by much younger woman. In the initial post she states that the company have been trying to get rid of her for the last 3 years and they finally did. She states that she’s good at her job, but despite that the company chose to replace her. People in Twitter responded to her post and a quite big discussion has started. Twitter user Elektra states that she feels really bad, because the company she’s been working for replaced her with a 25 years old. People felt her and decided to encourage her.

The woman states that she only hires older people than her, because they have wisdom and a work ethic.

Another woman responds and states that she might face the same problem in a while. She’s 44 and according to her pension are not even to be considered.

In this reply another user supports her and is stating that nothing gets old except for bread and clothes. she is encouraging her to step on and over all haters as well.

Another user is advising her to get a part time job, something like walking people’s dogs when they can’t or similar. Also she’s advising her to find what she loves and to start working for herself. She’s also ensuring her that her life will be calm and stress free.

This woman states that older women should have equal opportunity as older men to contribute to the workforce and to be able to age with dignity. To my personal opinion there should be the same opportunity with older and younger people and the companies should keep in mind that salary should be base according to experience.
